[English] The Price of Cheap Fingerboards, Expensive Fingerboards Part 1

The price of fingerboards worldwide varies greatly.

From Chinese toy fingerboards to globally renowned brands, 

prices range from as little as 1000 KRW to those so expensive they are priceless.

Why are the cheap ones so cheap, and why are the expensive ones so expensive?

And do their prices guarantee their performance?

Beginners or people who are unfamiliar with fingerboards 

might not understand why these tiny skateboard miniatures can range from 100,000 to 500,000 KRW.

I’m not sure if this article will help you understand, 

but I’ll share my thoughts on the price of fingerboards.

First, the cheap fingerboards.

They usually range from under 10,000 KRW to the mid-10,000s.

The most famous one is Tech Deck.

They have plastic decks, sandpaper grip tape, plastic bushings, and plastic wheels.

They have made skateboards into toy-like miniatures.

The price and performance are just right.

It’s not that fingerboard tricks are impossible, but they are not easy.

You need to pay more attention to the tricks to perform them with these fingerboards.

If you start with a Tech Deck and can do tricks like ollies or kickflips to some extent,

 I recommend upgrading to a fingerboard with better performance.
