[English] IFV #5 (Introduce Fingerboarding Video)

The video to introduce today is

TheDirtyHarry's "Heaven is a Halfpipe with TKY."

 

 

It's a video where TKY (Timo Kranz), the owner of asi berlin shop,

showcases transition fingerboarding very well.

He incorporates old-school skateboard transition tricks into fingerboarding, presenting quite realistic tricks.

 

Personally, when I first saw TKY,

I didn't feel impressed as he seemed to be struggling and getting frustrated, especially in the first minute and 30 seconds of the 5-minute video.

But as time passed and my perspective widened,

I realized that in transition fingerboarding, he's someone you can't ignore.

 

Compared to street fingerboarding, it's more challenging and tricky to maintain realism in transition fingerboarding.

It can easily look like just playing with toys,

but Timo Kranz manages to capture that realism very well.

 

While most people enjoy and prefer street fingerboarding,

it would be great if everyone could also experience the charm of transition fingerboarding!
