[English] IFV #8 (Introduce Fingerboarding Video)

Today's fingerboard video to introduce is

Elias Assmuth's 'Mega Fingerboard Park meets Elias Assmuths fingers at night'

 

 

This video was shot on October 18, 2007. 

Elias Assmuth, who dominated the fingerboard scene in the late 2000s, 

showcases fingerboarding for four minutes at the Blackriver G6 Fingerboard Park. 

 

The video starts with the appearance of a fingerboard, 

and the setup is probably a 

Berlinwood Classic 29mm, 

Bollie(?) or Dump Trucks, 

and Winkler Wheels. 

 

Seeing him ride like that with such a setup,

 it's evident that his skill isn't limited by the equipment, 

even though nowadays, equipment like Blackriver Trucks, Dynamics, Oak Wheels, and Riptape are readily available. 

 

I, too, was a huge fan of Elias and he was a tremendous inspiration for my fingerboarding. 

Though I'm not as active as before, recent updates on Elias's well-being on the asi berlin shop YouTube channel revealed that he has become a father. 

 

As a fan, 

I sincerely congratulate him.

 

 And his skills remain intact. 

 

While personal circumstances may keep him from being as active as before, 

I hope as a fan that he'll someday return to the fingerboarding industry, 

and whatever he does,

 I hope it brings him happiness.
