[English] Phifeline's New Wheels and Tteok Bushings 2

by LAZYPIPE 2024. 7. 7.

Among Korean fingerboard brands,
this one manufactures everything in-house,
including decks, wheels, and bushings.

Additionally, their attention to detail and quality are exceptional.
This time, they have released new wheels and their famous "tteok" bushings,
which I will review.

Phifeline always draws cute pictures on their packages.

This time, the wheels sold out quickly.
They were released in three colors
white, yellow, and blue.

It's amazing and exciting to be able to find wheels with graphics in Korea.

The newly released "tteok" bushings 2 come in sets of three, with a brt pivot cup.

There are two sets available
one in all white, and another in green, yellow, and orange.

These bushings are also sold out.

Due to the limited quantity, they sell out quickly.

The drawings on the packaging and stickers for the wheels and bushings are also very cute.

I was wondering what would match with the yellow color, so I decided to mount them on the yellow cowply C2 OG.

The graphics on the sides of the wheels are truly amazing.

Usage Review

Among the urethane wheels I've used,
there are two that have a glossy appearance.

They are the Wysocki Marshmallow wheels from Redwolf
and the recently released Phifeline Classic wheels.

The feel of both is very similar.

The wheels roll smoothly without any hindrance.

While they don't roll extremely fast,
they provide a smooth experience during fingerboarding without any snagging.

The urethane characteristics are very well-expressed in these wheels.

The friction is not too severe.

I consider the performance to be top-tier.

First of all,
the wheels look very pretty and pleasing.

The side graphics, similar to those on real skateboard wheels,
add a great visual appeal.

This brand is definitely one to look forward to in the future.

Next, the bushings.
They are known for their good feel in Korea.

Personally, I don't pay much attention to bushings.
As long as they are loose and don't tear easily, I'm satisfied.

I used to really like the Southsoft bushings.

However, as I sought even looser bushings,
I ended up using them without the lower bushing and pivot cup.
Recently, I reinstalled them fully and have been using them as intended.

While I was using Chinese bushings cut in half for a looser feel,
 I tried Phifeline's "tteok" bushings.

They provided a looseness that I liked just as much as Southsoft bushings.
They are also very resilient and come with Blackriver pivot cups.

It's amazing that we have such a brand in Korea.

The only downside is the limited quantity.

If you get a chance, I highly recommend purchasing them.
