[English] Funeral Collective V2 Mold Deck REVIEW.

The American fingerboard brand 

'Funeral Collective' 

includes members such as @pockstarr, @jahaqua, @safeboarder, @icegxd.fb, @dogfishbbq, and @lateer.1. 

The brand is lead by @unkoldass.

Funeral Collective offers two molds and various shapes. 

The molds are V1 and V2. 

The shapes are as follows.

 

 

Among them, I will review the V2 mold.

 

 

The one on top is the V2 mold, and the one on the bottom is the V1 mold.

The V1 has a moderate kick and concave, 

providing a comfortable boarding experience that's neither too high nor too low.

The V2, as seen in the picture, is much lower.

Recently, I have been captivated by the charm of low-shaped decks, 

and while searching for such decks, 

I came across the V2 mold and decided to purchase it immediately.

 

 

I received one V1 and three V2 decks.

In the middle is the PIPE MAG graphic, 

I had sent some gift to them a PIPE MAG t-shirt and some grip tape, 

and they surprised me by creating this with the included vinyl sticker.

I express my infinite gratitude to them.

The package includes a deck, stickers, and grip tape. 

The top of the deck features the laser-engraved "Funeral Collective" logo.

 

On the left is the V1, and on the right is the V2.

Look at the V2. 

The concave is almost non-existent. 

When you apply grip tape, it feels like the concave is inverted, haha.

 

 

Comparison of the V1 and V2 lines.

The V2 line... is really low.

 

Jnky Radio and V1.
They are similar, but the V1 is slightly higher.

I received a Pokémon card as a bonus. I have no idea what it is, but it's definitely cute.

Both the kick and concave are definitely lower.

 

Dum1Technology and V2.

While Dum1Technology is already a mellow deck, V2 is even lower and flatter.

V2 Setups

**Review**

After using the V2 for about a month and trying out various tricks,

 

 I found that its low kick makes it challenging to achieve 

the same height as with medium or high kick decks. 

 

However, the adaptation period to switch from medium or less low decks to

 the V2 was surprisingly short—or rather, there was no significant adjustment needed.

I don't have experience making decks, so my knowledge of detailed deck aspects is limited.

 I can't quite explain why I ride so well despite the low kick.

 

 But does that really matter? 

What's important is that the deck makes fingerboarding more enjoyable.

When my friends tried it, many commented, 

"It’s almost like a Catfish SW, but why does it ride so well?"

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to compare it to the Catfish Saltwater, which is a bit disappointing.

 

 Nevertheless, it’s clear that the V2 rides excellently, and I agree with that sentiment.

On the Funeral Collective site, 

you won't find an option to select the mold type.

 

 If you want to order the V2, 

you should write "V2 Mold PLEASE!" in the order notes or 

DM them with a screenshot of the desired graphic and ask if they can make it in V2 before placing your order.
