YEE CONCRETE's Pyramid Review

 

Among skateboard equipment, personally, I find the pyramid to be cool and enjoyable.

I think of the pyramid.

 

Perhaps the CEO of YEE CONCRETE also chose the theme of Egypt

and couldn't leave out the pyramid.

 

I also think that among the Egyptian-themed equipment,

the pyramid is the next best after the Wall/Quarter.

 

 

This is something that is too good to just use as equipment;

it could also be seen as a trendy objet d'art.

 

In a well-decorated interior,

placing it next to the bathroom

 

would make it look cool for no reason...

 

The surface is like this.

It's not smooth.

It has grooves and a textured surface.

 

So, when doing pops or climbing the face,

sometimes you might get caught on the grooves or feel a bit uncomfortable.

 

But craftsmen don't care about those things.

And there's this kind of piece among the Egyptian-themed ones this time.

 

The edges fit together perfectly like in the left picture.

 

I don't know if that was intentional,

but discovering that arrangement made the pyramid even better.

 

I recommend getting the pyramid and obelisk pieces as a set.

 

You can do various tricks popping from the pyramid, and slappies work smoothly too.

Review

 

Looking at the pictures

you can see that the apex of the pyramid isn't centered,

 

it's slightly tilted to the right.

One side is steep, while the other is relatively gentle.

 

The detail in designing it to provide different angles from one piece is really impressive.

 

The size is neither too big nor too small.

Of course, it's not the most comfortable size for landing.

 

You need to be careful to land precisely on the side you want to ride cleanly.

 

But we fingerboard in Korea,

it's environmentally challenging to put large pieces on wide tables and fingerboard.

We all have to live our lives, and it's difficult to adjust our environment for fingerboarding.

 

Barely fitting a ledge on a desk, or if it's a bit wider, a quarter and kicker on each side.

 

That's the reality.

 

If this pyramid were a bit bigger,

it would be fun, but

feeling burdened by its size,

it might end up as a pyramid that's too big even for a ramen pot stand,

used as a mere objet d'art, or quickly posted on the secondhand market.

 

Having a brand with such detailed pieces

is really surprising in Korea,

and if you're tired of the typical boxes, rails, and kickers,

there's no reason not to get this pyramid either.
